This is my third year at Krebs, and I am so excited to be a part of this district! I am the School Counselor, ELL Coordinator, District Test Coordinator, Nutrition Bags Coordinator, 7th and 8th grade ELA, and 6th grade Reading (Boys).
After college graduation, I moved to Nashville, TN, and I worked for the team physician for the Titans in their physical therapy then billing department. A few years later, I took a job working for Dave Ramsey as an assistant to his Executive Vice President which included admin work in addition to working and traveling with the Live Events team. That was a really fun time in my life of traveling, working hard, meeting people all over the nation, and learning as much as I could from some of the top leaders in the world! While visiting family back in Oklahoma in 2012, I happened to meet my future husband. =) I relocated from Tennessee back to Oklahoma and worked for a non-profit economic development company for 2 years. I then began at Kiowa Public Schools teaching 7th, 8th, 9th, and 11th grade English. I spent 7 years at Kiowa and am in my 3rd year at Krebs, making this my 10th year in education!
I married my husband Dusty on March 16, 2013, and he makes me laugh every single day! He is the Assistant Principal at McAlester High School. We have 2 beautiful and spunky daughters; Raylie is in the 2nd grade at Krebs this year, and Layken is in 4K at Karla Brock Academy. We have 2 dogs, Koda and King, and 1 cat, Kitten.
I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and friends, reading (when I have time!!), watching OU football with my husband, walking my dogs, and being outside. In my previous life pre-kids, I spent a lot of time riding horses and even did some rodeo! It is a dream and goal of mine to have room for a few ponies (plus a big one for me!) for my girls and me to spend time putting miles in the dirt together.
